The National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) is an umbrella organization of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) representing persons with disabilities in Uganda. NUDIPU was established in 1987. The umbrella NGO brings together all categories of disabilities including persons with physical, sensory, and intellectual impairments.

The main focus of NUDIPU is to promote non-discrimination, full and effective participation of persons with disabilities in mainstream development programs, accessibility to physical infrastructure and information, and to influence legislation in favor of persons with disabilities.

NUDIPU exists to promote the equalization of opportunities and active participation of persons with disabilities in mainstream development processes. This is pursued through participation in policy planning, capacity building, awareness enhancement and resource mobilization.

Since 1987 NUDIPU has been working together with the Norwegian Association of Disabled (NAD) on promoting inclusive development programmes. Since 2006 NUDIPU and NAD, together with the Association of the Microfinance Institutions in Uganda (AMFIU) have collaborated on an unique economic empowerment programme, which in 2016 was named the iSAVE Inclusive Economic Empowerment Programme. This tripartite partnership continues to further develop and strengthen the common aim of an inclusive society with dignity for all.
