The Norwegian Association of Disabled Youth (NHFU)
NAD’s youth wing, the Norwegian Association of Disabled Youth (NHFU) was first established in 1979. Today, NHFU is thriving as an organization with a growing membership base of 770 members, a board and seven local working groups. NHFU is constituted of and for youth up to the age of 30 with disabilities. Their main goal is to achieve full equality in society.
At the 2016 general assembly for NHFU two working groups were established, one of them concerning international solidarity. In 2017 representatives from the international solidarity group visited the youth wing of FEDOMA and representatives from the FEDOMA youth wing visited NHFU later same year. They all learned ways to improve the daily life for a person with a disability.
